Challenge:
Van Aalst Marine & Offshore B.V. specializes in the supply of bulk handling systems for maritime and offshore applications. Their customized systems increase the productivity of ships and offshore installations. Nordlaks’ new offshore fish farm Havfarm 1 required the construction of two Gantry Crane Service Units and rail structures.
Solution:
Novateq Engineering BV developed the complete engineering based on the supplied construction drawings of the ‘ship’ / offshore salmon farm and the requirements, specific wishes of the end customer, such as a capacity of 5 tons of each crane acting on the gangplank of the fishfarm.
