Challenge:
Maja Stevedores has been a fixture in the world of transshipment since 1972. From their Amsterdam headquarters, they perform stevedoring work for clients in the main Dutch seaports. Some of their floating lemniscate cranes were in need of an upgrade.
Solution:
Novateq Engineering BV, after a thorough analysis of the client’s requirements and wishes, used the results of the life cycle analysis to develop and implement an overhaul plan. This plan included the overhaul engineering of pivots, cylinders, upper arms of boom systems, platforms, etc. Examples of cranes where this work has been performed include the Enterprise Cornelis Tromp and Skyline.
